The realm of the Visar is vast and ancient. their influence is forgotten in our world. teh only remnant of the Greater Visarian Empire is a couple Portals left deep in ancient ruins, most are destroyed save for one or two. These "Gates" are guarded by vigilant Guardians in the form of noble statues at the entrances. Mind you these are not simply statues, within them lie the slumbering souls of the greatest heroes within the Empire.

The Story of Hochroter Drache begins in the capital city of Voriah where the being simply goes by the name of Allura Ravenswing, Captain of the Royal Imperial Guard and is ranked as a S.S.S Class Blademaster. She is also incredibly adept at hand-to-hand combat. On orders of the Royal Family, her body is put into the Tomb of Heroes and her soul is transplanted in a secret ritual and moved to the specially made body of a Guardian. This body is made of a heavily guarded, special alloy. In the "City of Heroes" universe, Impervium is the strongest metal. As the realm of the Visar is NOT of that universe, it allows for this alloy to be even stronger than Impervium, making the Guardians all but indestructible.

A side-effect of having the soul move to a different host is the body does not age at all, in fact, if the body is destroyed, the soul in the Guardian would be permenant. another side-effect is the ability of the soul to travel between the body and the Guardian at will, even across universes.
The Guardian Hochroter Drache has been in her body just short of a 100,000 years, making her the oldest Visar in their entire recorded history as their average lifespan is 600 years. and one of the oldest living things on the planet earth, besides some trees.

The Gate that is entrusted to Hochroter Drache is near the city of Paragon, deep under the remnants of one of several Visarian sunken cities (fun fact: these are what inspired the legends of Atlantis), in a magically protected field only accessable through a hidden cave, many labarynth-like tunnels, and wide open "World-bubbles" which have small false-suns and flowing atmospheres that create forests with many forms of life, including "mythical" creatures like dragons, unicorns, faires, and the like.

Her duty is to Protect this Gate. Her powerful sense of justice leads her to protect the weak, thus becoming a Hero of this world.
